People who know me know I am oddly out of touch with internet drama. I follow certain things because they’re hilarious, but that’s about it. I find the entire Ethan Ralph situation to be hilarious. That is why I follow it. I do not think DarkSidePhyll, Ethan from H3, Keemstar, or any other drama cows are funny. So, I do not follow them and generally just get a best of about their mooings on the internet. However, one person swept me up right away when they started causing drama. This person was Camelot331. However, by his sixth video some major cracks started to show and within 3 months the con was so obvious I am still shocked people haven’t figured it out.
Who is Camelot331 and why did he capture me right away? Well in 2019, during the height of Gamestop is bad, an ex Gamestop manager comes along to spill all the beans on the company. I knew lots of people who worked at Gamestop during this time; I was curious about the truth of Gamestop. Not only did I know regular employees but also managers, district managers, and someone who worked at corporate. My friend’s mom also worked in their repair center. Now, I do not think Gamestop is a good company by any means. I actually think they’re an awful business who are only still around due to all the buyouts that happened in the 2000s. They’ve forced themselves into being a necessary evil for the industry. However, I am a stickler for the truth. I watched his videos to basically quiz some people I knew and poke some holes. He said some things that the people who worked at Gamestop were shocked that I brought up. Then he also said somethings they laughed at because of how ridiculous of a claim they were.
Camelot331 told lots of stories about Gamestop events and all these crazy “incentives” the employees had. These were really things they needed to push or they would get in trouble. He talked about coworkers hooking up at events in Vegas. It would be these personal tales that made me realise people weren’t looking at him objectively. Does it matter to you random person online that two managers from Gamestop fucked in a Vegas hotel room? No. So why did you take intense joy in Camelot331 “exposing” Gamestop for this. All he did was tell a personal, unverifiable story, about two managers who you all insulted and said this would help bring down Gamestop. I have no clue how some of y’all thought that. Talking to my friend, who has been to the Vegas events before, I asked him about this. He said that yes people do hook up but it is often people who are post divorce or are young and looking to mingle. He said some adultery happened but not a lot. There is nothing wrong with people who are divorced fucking each other while they’re drunk. It’s more than likely the only time they get any form of socialization. As for young and looking to mingle? You put alcohol near any group of 23-26 year olds and people are bound to fuck. Neither of these situations are exclusive to Gamestop. They’re also petty things for a man to bring up who has “moved past being a Gamestop manager”. These claims are not what I am here to talk about. It’s Walmart and my former hidden YouTube channel. This section was to show you the mindset of the audience he picked up.
You might be wondering how Walmart fits into a guy who shits on Gamestop for a living. Well, this is where the illusion was completely broken for me. After quitting Gamestop he started to work for some “small local business”, as he put it, that handled contracts for major companies. He explained to his job that he had a YouTube Channel and that he used it to shit on Gamestop but he wouldn’t make content on his current job. He admitted to both of these things in different videos he uploaded to his channel. Every single one of his fans, including myself at the time, wished him well. Well, after telling his boss that he has this YouTube channel and what he does on it he immediately makes a video shitting on Walmart. In the description of his Walmart video, as of this blog post, looks like this:
Here he is admitting that his current employer has him working at Walmart. Here he is shitting on Walmart right after telling his boss he wouldn’t do that. You’ll notice I included his PO Box. This is for a reason. Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and every other big box company has teams of people who scour the internet looking for ANY mention of them. Dumbass331 not only lied to his boss about not making content on their contracts knowing they knew of his channel, but included his PO box too. Walmart can easily find out which store he is visiting from this information and which company is contracting him. Immediately after this video he is fired. I mean right away. The next video, only a few days later, is about how Gamestop got him fired. He has 0 evidence that Gamestop got him fired. Yet everyone took his side. It is actually this video where he mentions, at 2 minutes and 7 seconds, that his YouTube channel is getting popular and the people he works with have found his channel.
I was apparently the only person on the entire internet that noticed he admitted that his company knew of his YouTube channel, that Walmart has a dedicated who’s talking shit about us team, and he uploaded the video shitting on Walmart right before getting fired. With the exception of the Walmart shit talking team these are all things he himself admitted in one video. The video where Gamestop is this evil villain that is ruining this man’s life. Except, looking at what he admits there’s way more evidence that Gamestop didn’t need to tell his company about the Walmart video. This is where my once temporarily removed Gmail and YouTube account come in. I noticed these obvious contradictions. I made a video where I talked about them. I used direct quotes and timestamps of his videos in my video. I used no clips of him speaking because I knew he would DMCA me. This man was an obvious self victim lying to keep the victim hood going, despite it ruining any chances of him ever finding a job. What happened instead surprised me. I upload the video. I didn’t even share it. I go to the gym and come back to 400 views, tons of down votes, and comments insulting me calling me a Gamestop plant or shill. Then I go on Twitter and I see someone shared it to Crybaby331. I laugh to myself expecting some sort of drama channel shit between us, which I wasn’t even going to entertain. I was just going to upload a video of a Gamestop logo and a crying baby sound effect. Instead I am kicked out of YouTube. I try to login. It says no account exists. I type in the video title and nothing appears. I assume it was hidden by the algorithm so I login to my lets play channel where I followed this account. This account was removed. I login to the Gmail account I used. It also doesn’t exist. Eventually through all sorts of customer service BS I finally get a hold of someone about my Gmail account. It was removed for targeted harassment. I was able to get the account back after someone watched the video in question and found it wasn’t harassment of any sort. Now, I have no evidence that he reported my account. With that said, I do have more evidence than he does in any of his videos that Gamestop is stalking him.
While looking through his videos for the time stamp I came across this video by Back Pocket Game Reviews. He is a former Gamestop employee too and even called Camelot331 out on some obvious lies. He pointed out how Gamestop would have nothing to legally go after him on and even brought up how his job knew he was a risk due to his YouTube videos. He also brought up something I failed to bring up with my video at the time. At will state firing. I don’t know how I didn’t bring this up in my old video then, or think of it until this guy’s video. When all of this was going down I was just fired in an at will state. I wasn’t wrongfully terminated but my former employer did lie to the state of Texas about why I was fired, twice. In an attempt to stop me from getting unemployment after they drained my 401k from over 5k to 2k. You’ll notice I am still not saying which employer did this. After providing evidence to the state of Texas that they’re lying I was able to get my unemployment benefits. Just as Back Pocket Game Reviews said because it is an at will state doesn’t mean they can fire you for any reason without consequences. While digging this stuff up again, because it still bothers me people believe him, I found this video by Back Pocket Game Reviews calling him out for more lies.
Some people ask me why I don’t like this guy. It’s not just that he’s an obvious liar who is only getting by because “Gamestop bad!”. Gamestop is an awful fucking company, which is why most of the people I know left. Even the person who worked at corporate. He, or someone in his community, flagged one of my videos temporarily killing a channel and a Gmail account. It’s a bit personal for me. Sure I don’t do that stuff anymore, nor do I have any interest in doing it, but it’s the fact he did it. He goes around acting like a victim 24/7 online and shit talking every job he’s ever worked for and then wonders why he can’t keep a job. YouTube money dries up. He has his brainless followers but they ain’t always there. You can see this from his streams or when he tried to make music and video game content. No one cares what he has to say about music or video games. People only care if he goes into a mic and says, “Gamestop bad! Gamestop try and sue me! Evidence of a legal threat? What’s that?” He’s like a Stephanie Sterling but instead of loot boxes it’s Gamestop. We know they’re bad. For a man who has claimed, numerous times, to have moved past Gamestop his channel is still full of him bitching about Gamestop like a scorned ex. I no longer think he quit but was instead fired. He keeps getting fired from his jobs and he seems obsessed about Gamestop. He acts like a guy who never got over the girl who left him, but instead about a soulless company.
