I’m going to break my usual rule of not writing about active drama for this post. I have this rule because things can rapidly change. See my Activision Blizzard post where I said Bobby Kottick most likely had no idea what was happening. Whoops, had I waited 1 week that article would’ve been very different in tone. My bad. However, I feel this is different because I will be talking about past dots with current drama that no one seems to be linking together. Yeah, it is about Creator Clash booting Froggy Fresh. Yet what I am really going to write about is Sam Hyde’s well documented humiliation of Ian AKA Idubbz.
If you haven’t heard Froggy Fresh was kicked out of Creator Clash over making a joke about the person running the event having an OnlyFans account. Since a lot of my readers come from overseas this sentence needs an explanation. Creator Clash is a boxing event where internet content creators, mostly YouTubers and Twitch streamers, will box each other for charity. People get beat up but lots of charities make money from people buying the tickets to watch people they like, or hate, online fight each other. Froggy Fresh is an old YouTuber, who I had never heard about until this event, who made rap videos. Finally OnlyFans is a website for people to sell naked pictures of themselves online. Judging by the regions that read my site; yes that needed to be explained. The person Froggy Fresh made fun of is also the wife of YouTuber Idubbz, to be called Ian from here on out, who is the title fight on Creator Clash. Froggy Fresh was trained by Sam Hyde who Ian has personal issues with. Sam Hyde is an old internet comedian and had his own TV show, Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace, at one point. From this point on any other name mentioned, unless stated otherwise, is a YouTuber.
Ian was a shock YouTuber. He would say the words “Nigger” and “Faggot” a lot. He would also say stuff like, “Rape is good.”, “I like Rape.”, and make jokes about wanting to rape people’s children and wives on Twitter. Ian also famously went to a convention to pose with a woman who used to say nigger, but stopped, and when it was time to take a picture with her instead of saying cheese he said, “Now say ‘Nigger!’” Looking back at all of his Content Cop videos he’s just as guilty of everything he’s made fun of his targets for. From lampooning Ricegum’s joke about rape to trying to hide from his past of saying,”Nigger faggot”. A topic for another day. Ian decided he no longer wanted to be an edgy boy and instead produce documentaries on fallen internet personalities. He does one on Sam Hyde where the entire time Sam Hyde and his crew are just fucking with Ian. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen online. When Ian finally uploads the video he takes a non-insignificant amount of time to explain ironic meta humor, and fails to do so because he claims you either suck at irony or mean it, in a way to make Sam Hyde seem racist and deranged. This has always struck a nerve with me. He tries to say meta irony makes one immune to criticism, when it doesn’t, and this explanation gives him immunity to any criticism or negative opinions he has of Sam Hyde. He is doing the exact same shit he’s accusing others of in a slimey fucking way to make him seem like the good guy, again. We’re all about to see why he tries to paint Sam Hyde in this light with Creator Clash 1.
Ian has now publicly painted Sam Hyde as hard to work with and impossible to understand. After doing so one of his fighters, Harley, decides to get some boxing training from Sam Hyde. Harley later told PKA that Ian warned him about working with Sam Hyde. That Sam Hyde is very difficult to work with. This gets into the second time Sam Hyde publicly humiliated Ian, and he didn’t know or mean to. According to Harley Sam Hyde was a blast to work with, and took his time with Harley seriously. Sure there were a few jokes or weird moments, that’s just Sam Hyde, but he still took it very seriously and wanted Harley to win. This was the second egg on Ian’s face, after his failed hit piece. Now comes the fight. Sam Hyde bought a bunch of front row tickets to Creator Clash and instead of informing him before the event that he couldn’t go Ian wanted to surprise it on him. However, Sam Hyde was lazy and didn’t want to go to Florida. His crew showed up, but not him. The first egg at Creator Clash. He doesn’t get to one up Sam Hyde because Sam Hyde failed to show. Sam’s crew is allowed into the event. Now we get to the fight of Harley VS Egoraptor. Harley wins. Not only did Sam Hyde take the coaching very seriously but Harley wins, a second egg during Creator Clash. Fast forward to Ian’s fight. He loses. Sam Hyde offered to help him train too, but Ian refused. Who knows, maybe Ian would’ve won? After all, Harley did, but as Harley said he used the teachings from his professional boxing coach and Sam Hyde’s. A third egg during the Creator Clash. Finally the night is winding down. There’s no way for Ian to possibly get a fourth egg on his face, at his own event. That is until Brandon Buckingham, someone who seems to be in with Sam’s crew, interviews Dr. Mike, Ian’s opponent. Ian had claimed the reason Sam Hyde could not be on the card is because Dr. Mike didn’t want to be on the same card as Sam Hyde. Brandon asks Dr. Mike about this and he said he had no idea who Sam Hyde was and even said, “Sorry about that, that wasn’t my call,” when asked about Sam Hyde being unable to show up. Man, how would you feel to be humiliated not once but four fucking times at your own event. By the end of Creator Clash Ian now has six eggs on his Face, and only one was on purpose. Oh, wait, I forgot one. Sam Hyde is trending on Twitter after people find out what Dr. Mike said. Seven eggs on your face. Five of which are from your own event.
Fast forward, because nothing really happens, and a new boxing event is announced. Sam Hyde is on the card. Ian is asked about Happy Punch, a rival YouTuber’s boxing event, and said that Keemstar hasn’t been able to deliver. There is a stream where he said it would be very difficult to have Sam Hyde at an event like this because no one could control him, but I am having a hard time finding this video due to the current drama. I am not sure of the exact quote but it’s something along those lines. The event happens. Sam Hyde is raking in the views. Sam Hyde, and due to him the event, is trending. Hell, family members of mine who had never heard of Sam Hyde before this event were talking about him. That’s a promotion Creator Clash missed out on, due to petty bullshit. The first egg of a new event. This egg is much bigger than others because Ian spent all this time saying negative things about Happy Punch and here’s Sam Hyde giving it a massive boost. Every day at the event Sam Hyde is killing it as the Candy Man. Every day a new clip of his is trending. Every day is more and more humiliation Ian has to face over his petty bullshit. We’ll count this as just one egg to be nice. The fight happens. Guess who wins. Sam Hyde of course. You know this hurt Ian. This did nothing but make his decision to ban Sam Hyde look even worse. This man would’ve drawn in a massive audience and win. He could cash the check his mouth was running. Another fat egg all over Ian’s face. Not only this, after Sam Hyde won he’s calm. He’s real. He isn’t berating the loser on Twitter, or anything. Sam Hyde is…. humble? That goes against everything Ian set up in his little hit piece. A fourth egg from Happy Punch. It turns out there’s a fifth egg we didn’t know about until yesterday. Sam Hyde, according to Keemstar, went a bit too rough in the promos and needed to be to chill out. Guess who complied with no issue, per both of their words during a Twitter Space. For someone who is supposed to be really difficult to work with, it seems like a lot of people who treat people as people can work with him. It looks like everyone’s advice of “Just talk to him” works. The uncontrollable monster is a golden retriever. Ian’s little hit piece is having more issues.
Fast forward to Creator Clash 2, again nothing happens between these two events. Froggy Fresh decides to train with Sam Hyde because he’s been a fan for a long time. Harley tells him there shouldn’t be an issue, as long as you behave when coming back. Ian calls him and tells him there is an issue, per Froggy Fresh’s word in a Twitter space. To me, it looks like Harley doesn’t understand things are a bit different this time. Last time Sam Hyde was “dealt with” via Ian’s hit piece. In between the two Creator Clashes he’s been publicly humiliated over 10 times by Sam Hyde without Sam Hyde meaning to. Should things workout between Froggy Fresh and Sam Hyde, like they did with Harley and Sam Hyde, that’s another egg. Ian can’t have that. Even looking at his Content Cop videos you can tell he’s an egotistical person. The way he would attack others for the same shit he does but distort it in a way that makes him look like a good guy. Things are very different this time. Ian also can’t distance himself from Harley. After all, he won last year. Which gets into why Froggy Fresh was kicked out. The Only Fans joke. Froggy Fresh said he would subscribe to his wife’s OnlyFans if he lost and when her mother attacks him over it he responds with, “Better an imp than a pimp, shout out your boy Idubbz.” Ian made a video dedicated to how he doesn’t care if people make fun of him for his wife’s OnlyFans. While Harley did point out that a generic boxing contract says you can’t insult the show, or its owners, things are a bit different here. Both Ian and his wife have had a stance of not caring about her OnlyFans. They will mock and make fun of people who make fun of her OnlyFans. Ian was also known as one of the ultimate shit talkers at one point. Yet here we have Ian slinking away and just giving Froggy Fresh the boot. Ian can’t publicly come out and say that OnlyFans jokes are off limits now. He’s been shedding fans and views for a bit. Admitting that it does indeed bother him if people make fun of his wife’s OnlyFans wouldn’t be the final nail in a coffin, but it would be a big one. People would then hound him forever over it. So what can they do? Here we have a fighter linked to Sam Hyde who just insulted one of the owners. Instead of talking to Froggy Fresh they give him the boot, after Froggy Fresh had requested everything be in writing via text/email. I personally do not think this was a way for Ian to try and own Sam Hyde again. It makes no sense in that regard. I just think Ian’s ego was bruised up so badly and he saw Froggy Fresh as siding with the enemy. Just like every other interaction with Sam Hyde, this too blows up in his face.
It’s been a few days and every day Sam Hyde is trending. Sometimes Ian’s wife is trending. I’ve not seen Ian trend, which is weird, and Creator Clash is trending for negative reasons. Harley is running damage control, of his own volition because he believe is the charity he is fighting for (donate here https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate), and it’s making everyone ask, “Why can’t Ian and his wife answer a few simple questions?” It’s because anyway they answer, it results in Ian looking weak to Sam Hyde. Now the best course of action is to sweep it under the rug. This way people can only assume shit about Ian instead of knowing for sure. In a few months time it’ll be over, until the next Creator Clash. Froggy Fresh now has a fight booked with Happy Punch. Keemstar has publicly asked Sam Hyde to help promote the event since he did such a wonderful job last time, and he wasn’t even getting paid to do PR.
Currently this is where it becomes dicey to talk about things. We don’t know what is or isn’t concrete. Who knows, maybe Froggy Fresh is lying. Maybe Harley was right all along. We can’t know for sure until some time has passed. The one thing that does seem for sure is everyone in the story seems to have won, except Ian. His name is getting smeared. His image is slowly cracking. His event will no doubt be a success, tickets are paid for, but people aren’t happy. Some are asking for refunds. Some are saying they won’t support a Creator Clash 3. Who knows if these are even real threats by people who bought tickets. The point is Sam Hyde has now humiliated Ian 12 times since his hit piece went live. Every interaction with Sam Hyde, so far, has ended with egg all over Ian’s face. Where can Ian go from here? Anywhere he goes Sam Hyde will be there. They’re closely related now. Sam Hyde is promoting a boxing event. A boxing event Ian has publicly dissed before. Keemstar has taken the opposite approach with Creator Clash saying it’s a fantastic event. Ian’s views are still high, but dwindling. He went from getting 5+ million views per video to being lucky to break 2.5 mil views. In fact, outside of his Creator Clash 2 video, the last 4 videos all have sub 1 mil views, at the time of publication. Meanwhile Sam Hyde is getting a new TV show. Sure, Ian’s videos get more views but a TV show is a much bigger deal. Especially since it means people are trusting you with money to produce a show. Which is a strange thing to trust someone with who is supposed to be really hard to work with.
