You know one of the nice things about having my own website? I don’t need to worry about getting banned. In my last post I wrote the word “suicide”. When writing it I hesitated for a few minutes. I was thinking of what phrase I should use instead of “suicide” but would still drive the point home. Writing “uninstalled from life”, “committing not live”, and all of the other ways we’ve come up with to dance around the subject doesn’t have the same impact, if anything it lessens it. While I was editing it I caught myself on “suicide” again. I spent a few minutes thinking of how to edit it out until it finally dawned on me: who is going to ban me?

How Censorship and Hiding Small Truths Creates Fringe Groups
When you take a few months off you need to come back with something worth the wait, right? This is a post I’ve been wanting to write for almost two years now since I first started to look into how the fringe right happened. Like, how the fuck did QAnon happen? I started to notice specific patterns on social media which piqued my interest. So, I did a bit of digging. Upon digging I came to a few shocking conclusions. Before I go over what I found out I want to address something that is related. Have you seen those people who claim someone is a nazi/SJW by taking shit out of context? Someone who thinks they’re an intellectual and will try to claim someone as part of the alt-right/whatever the term for the fringe left is these days. Remember kiddos, just because you can read doesn’t mean you know how to. Basic reading comprehension is extremely important. If you lack that then you lack the ability to read, at least in my eyes. I’m stressing this at the start because I already know a bunch of slow pokes will use this post to frame me in whatever way they want by taking shit out of context because I am exposing the grift/flaws of their thinking. Alright, that’s enough making fun of the people who would fail my 3rd grade English class. Let’s dig into what I found. I don’t need to write anything catchy here. The title explains it already.

Some people have asked why don’t I make video essays. A few have suggested I make a YouTube channel like so many others and just blabber on for 15+ minutes wasting your time. I think YouTube, and other video streaming sites, work best for content that relies on audio and visual. My website doesn’t even rely on audio. Even if I were to read the posts to you nothing would be gained. I make stuff here designed for a purely textual level. Because of this you can just read it at a pace that is comfortable with you and easily find what you need.

For those who don’t know: I am an American expat living in China. People often think I am lying about this, or are shocked by it. Some people will ask me questions about life in China and I will sometimes answer their questions. I try to avoid this topic as there are no benefits if I talk about it. If anything, it almost always results in negatives. However, there’s two things I want to talk about. I’ll write about the other one next time. Right now, I feel it’s important to talk about why I don’t talk about life in China because even with me saying what I just said there will be people who are already trying to take it out of context. I’ve seen it countless times when describing life here.
